So, a pretty simple question--I had my bike in the back of my truck and the front wheel was angled in such a way that technically my fork--Lyrik Ultimate--was angled down. It is a year old. I noticed oil on the stanchions when I hauled the bike back out for a ride. Since then, I have stored it as I always do--right side up on wheels and no oil. This stands to reason. But are the seals normally so weak that storing the bike at a bad angle will result in leakage, or do the seals need to be replaced?

Also, it appears Rock Shox has not been as forward thinking as Fox. Seal kits everywhere for Fox, but not for Rock Shox? Ah, these supply chain problems...

Your fork should not leak oil, that sounds like a seal failure. Hanging bikes upside down for storage is also common and shouldn't produce a leak of any sort.

Just my $.02 I have had bad luck with Enduro fork seals in the past. I've had customers forks come back in less than a week leaking oil and also seen them lead to premature wear on stanchion coatings. If you can't get anything else I would still use them if needed. Just not my first or second choice if I have options.
