The first SRU race went down on Sunday and with the help of my wife, DanO, Steph and many others, it was a success. 28 riders showed up and put down $10 bux to get timed down Split Rock and eat pizza. And for a few of the fast riders, they were competing for half the pot! Fortunately, everyone walked off the mountain but not after a few went down hard in the step down section near the bottom. Congrats to Alfonso and Sanjay for winning and splitting the $140 cash prize. And props to all the riders who were able to woof down 4 NY style Giant Pizzas at Rosaria Pizzaria!
