Does anyone know how to install about Scott's Legacy Shock? What is the ideal use?

How many mm or cm should be in sitting and traveling position.

Should all air be purged before loading air? Which tube should be loaded with air first, there are two tubes, positive and negative.

The small cylinder clearly has a table on it that shows rider weight and air setting, so you have that answer. My guess for the main air chamber would be to set sag at approximately 25 - 30% of the travel, ride and see how it feels / operates.

I can see the values in the small table. But does it matter which one I load air first? Do I have to remove all the air before installing?

You should pressurise the positive chamber before negative. No need to remove air but pressures need checked when that shock is fully retracted otherwise chamber volumes and pressures move.
Also activate the travel mode to equalise pressures.

I don't know which one I applied pressure to first yesterday. I loaded the pressure according to the values in the table. I will do as you say again.

I have a question. Can I find another shock suitable for the bike frame instead of this shock? Do you need this? Is this shock good or should I replace it?

I don't go on a lot of trails and I can't use it on rough places. There aren't many opportunities where I live. Usually for urban use and not very difficult paths.

It's a pull shock so you can't replace it with anything else. They are serviceable, we normally service about 1 a year but it's been 2 in the last 2 months.

I contacted you at www.shockcraft.co.nz here. For maintenance & repair and to find a new model if we can get a new one. I have stated my questions in the mail. Thanks

Thanks. We won't be open again until January 12th. I'll be online when I get bored throughout the hoidays.
