In the whole time the Nitrous was in production, was there any major modifications done on the frame? Was there much change in geo numbers?

I'm curious because a friend's selling a Nitrous 10 frame (reckon a 05-06 model), and I am curious about it as a DH and FR bike. I know it has a 1.5 HT, but he can sell it to me with a headset.

The Nitrous had numerous changes to tubes and geometry. The older round tubed ones are more all mountain and the square tubed ones are more FR.

The Nitrous is a backup plan in case the Bullit deal I am saving up for falls through.
Buckow, did you have any experience with the Nitrous?

Yeah, I have ridden the Nitrous and designed the Nitrous Slopestyle to address the my issues with the bike. I think it is a bit too linear for me but the geo is pretty good. The newer Scott bikes are much better. Have you checked out the Voltage FR 30? It is a sick bike at a very low price.

Sure I would love to try the Voltage FR but rich is not a word to describe me. The Gambler is a dream bike of course, after seeing Mike Hopkins and James Doerfling shred the heck out of it in Kranked 7 and Kranked Revolve.

The Voltage FR 30 is 1500 Euros or 1800 dollars depending on where you are. Complete bike with new parts will go a long way. Where do you live/ride?

I live in the Philippines, and there are a couple of Scott dealers here. Though I did see a 2008 Gambler FR20 for below $1000...
