Looks like this could be the next big thing in MTB. Ability to run tyres at 0.8 bar, no burping,no snakebites. Who needs 27.5+/29+!! Post your thoughts here.

Thought:
Tubular MTB tires already exist and the mass market has selected tubeless clinchers, much in the same way the mass market selected tubed clinchers in the 70s and 80s over tubular road.

One of the things I'm most interested in seeing is the effect on sidewall flex. I was about to pull the trigger on some 30-35 rims to replace a beat down set of arch ex and now I'm curious to see if maybe you don't have to go so wide to be able to run low pressure and still get a pretty stable side wall.

So maybe we could run 450g/25mm alloy rims and procore and get the 90% of the benefits as wide carbon... Maybe...
