Any problems with the horizontal DO Scandal's derailer hanger being permanant?

I have a slot drop out Inbred that I run geared and I haven't had any problems with the hanger - I assume you're worried about the hanger breaking? Different material (steel v. aluminum) and I don't really hit any drops, but I haven't had any problems.

Correct, I am worried about the aluminum.

Well, difficult to answer as I haven't had a problem with it so far. Hope I don't need to find out!
