I work for a shop that allows me a slight discount on Cannondales however we need to order direct from them so maybe this explains my situation, but:
In October I ordered a Scalpel 3, they said it was on backorder until late December/new year. I canceled the order.
Fast forward to present: It's the first week in February and I reorder the Scalpel 3. It is on backorder until late April!
I forgot to ask stock on the other model levels (I was just gonna buy the base model and upgrade the parts). Now I need to either buy a higher model or get a Flash 29er (not my first choice).
/rant.
