SC blur xc questions

I'm looking at a used blur xc frame, it comes with a manitou swinger 3way air shock.

Couple questions
- Is that a stock shock, and roughly what year might the frame be?
- My aim is to make a light weight trail bike, can the blur deal with aggressive xc/trail/am riding? No huge drops, but 2-3ft'er with transition landings etc, nothing harsh.
- I'd like to slack it out a little with a pike or lyric, is that a bad idea?

Would this blur be on roughly the same level as say a trance x, just trying to find a reference point, not compare...

Cheers

the blur xc would not make a good trail bike. It was/is a xc race frame, very light tubing(read weak) it would not hold up to what your want

the head tube is again thin/light and would be riped off if you used a longer fork on it,

sounds like what you want is an blur lt.
Thanks, thats kind of what I thought... oh well :)
