I don't have enough good things to say about Saris or this rack. I wanted a hitch mount rack and picked this up off of Craigslist from a guy for $75! It was in near perfect shape. I scooped a great deal with this buy.
This rack is hitch mount and has a knob on the back to tighten/stabilize the receiver when in use. It prevents all left to right shifting/swaying. I LOVE this feature. It holds two bikes...two plastic straps around the tube and one around the seat post. The bikes lock to the rack and the rack locks to the vehicle.
The only issue I had was the teeth on the plastic straps were worn and they would back out of the jaw. This in turn loosened the bikes and they would slide/bounce while in the rack. I called Saris to see if I could buy some replacements. The guy sent me 6 jaw/strap sets FREE within a couple of days. To top it off I broke a plastic end cap when I was trying to repair it. I called them back and they sent me all new caps for free too!
This rack is awesome and their customer service is top notch. If you want a solid/secure hitch mount rack you cant go wrong with this one. I'll buy Saris from now on. :thumbsup:
