saris bones 3 / cabrio (porsche)

I read on a forum that someone has seen a saris bones fitted to a porsche 997 cabrio, and it looked stable enough. I am not sure if it was saris bones single bike version or the three bike version.
Has anyone had any experience fitting the 3 bike rack to
a) any cabrio
b) a porsche 997 c4s cabrio ?
