I've owned a couple of Superlight's and a Heckler in the past and they've all put a big smile on my face, and i just couldn't resist this frame. Not had much time on it yet but it feels lively and fast, at 5'10" the large fit's me like a glove.

The build is,
lge. grey powdercoat
fox vanilla 130 rlc
king headset
thomson x4 90mm 10' rise stem
easton carbon xc riser
xo twisters and loc-on grips
mavic crossmax xl wheels and conti vert-pro ust tyres
xtr cranks and f. mech
xo rear mech- long cage
959 pedals
raceface bottom brkt.
sram 99 chain
xtr cassette
thomson masterpiece seatpost
wtb saddle
hope m4 brakes with black levers, braided hose, gunmetal bore caps and riveted discs with titanium rotor bolts
gore-tex gear cables
hope qr seat collar

I don't know what the final weight is but i don't think i could make it any lighter whilst still having the durability i need- should be an awesome trail bike.

Nice!!!

Very nice build... let us know how she works out!
USS indianapolis

I always liked the battleship grey. Nice build, Now if you could get rid of the frost so that you could get break it in it would be perfect.
Nice looking rig. Something about the simple grey color appeals to me. Congrats on the new ride ;)
hey there

I'm scoping a Blur LT (would love a Nomad but I think it's probably more bike than I need). Haven't spoken to the lbs yet.

I'm 5'9" and was thinking a medium would be the best fit. Has anyone seen a medium - does it have the bent top tube?

I know it shouldn't make a difference but I much prefer the bent to the straight TT - thanks

Medium has bent top tube. I think M is the right size for you, I am 5' 11" and a touch and decided for Large, but still think I could vote for M and not sure that I had voted right.
I think if you can, then get a test ride to decide between medium and large. The large Heckler i had fitted me better than any of my past frames and what a great handling bike BTW. The specs. and in particular the top tube lenght are virtually the same as the BLT . The top tube on my medium 17" Ellsworth Moment is actually longer than the large BLT ( measured with a tape on top of a long spirit level ) and as we know manufacturers have differing ideas on sizes.
