Is using grease gun kind of accomplishing the same thing as doing the grease part of Axle maintenance as shown in their technical videos?

What I mean is that - the sealed bearings themselves are not being greased - so grease ports are greasing the axle correct?

Kind of like Turner's journal bearing system, except that SC uses sealed bearings that rotate on the axle?

the sealed bearings are being greased. there are no seals on the inside. the axle only needs a light coating of grease

Um, if you have actually removed the bearings from the lower link, the back sides are open....at least they used to be....

bearings and axles are being greased when you shoot the gun in there. if you take the link apart, you will see that the 'hole' where the nipples fits into, just goes straight into the cavity where the axles go through. so the grease goes thru the nipple, and immediately hits the axle and presumably gets forced out each side, thus greasing the bearings
