Im currently building up a Santa Cruz Blur XC Carbon (orange/black) Here is the current build list. Photos to be up shortly when more parts arrive. I am welcoming feedback and suggestions. Components in bold are parts that still need to be bought/decided on.

looks like a blinding build

have a soft spot for the 2011 fox terralogic fork & would drop the durin for one if i could choose myself & take the weight penalty

if you use plastic bolts with your XO gripshifters - use the bog standard steel bolt 1st + carbon grip paste then swap out the bolt after a couple of rides & grease the plastic bolts threads lightly & then torque it up over a few mins till tight enough so not to turn :thumbsup:

Thanks for the tips! Really helpful. I still don't even know if its worth the hassle and worry to go with nylon on the gripshifts. I'd rather install and forget!

Heres an "in progress" picture. Still waiting on the AER headset to be pressed in as well as the black/red Magura Durin SL, KCNC X7 brakes, and XX Front mech. Will be changing pictured gold bits to red, the annodized gold is left over from a previous build.

Havent run them before. Haven't even gotten a thorough review/ride-report but I like the fact that they have unique looks not seen on many WW bikes and they have a reasonable price for their weight. Of course those factors will be useless if the brakes don't perform but I'm hoping for the best. :thumbsup:

I can write up a ride report on them once they arrive and the snow melts.

KCNC X7 just in from dulight.fr along with b-t-p bottle cage and some nylon bolts. Was in a bit of a hurry so wasn't able to get any pics of the bottle cage. I may have to switch the btp out enventually as I don't know if it will hold up to repeated quick-bottle swaps during races and general abuse as it is literally paper thin. As for the brakes: They look much better in person however, I think I am one of the few people who thinks these brakes even look "good". Ride report and pics on scale to be posted soon.
