Sanctioned races near New York City?

Does anyone know if there are any sanctioned races near New York City this coming Summer? I've heard theres some racing series that goes on in NJ, and there's the Plattekill XC race, but that's a one time deal in July I think. Anyone have any more info on any other races or series' that are located near NYC? I wanna start XC racing and try to get in at least 3 races this coming summer. Thanks.
