Any suggestions on a Salsa Horsethief 2 vs 3?

I like the 2's wheelset and x.7/9 better but not the front fork. Suggestions on the better long term buy?

Long term I'd want a 2014 frame with the Split Pivot.

+1 on waiting for the 2014. I like my 2012, but the suspension design on the '14 looks like a big step up. I know the closeout prices are appealing, but it might be worth it to wait a bit and save up, if you need to.
