Sorry if this has been asked before, I did a search and didn't really find what I needed.

I was thinking of buying a Saint setup, and hopefully keeping my 6bolt hubs and rotors. Does anyone make adapters for the the Saint calipers to fit 6bolt hub/rotor setups, can they be jerryrigged to fit, do they fit straight across?

Thanks in advance.

The XT and Saint are basically the same caliper. They only difference is the rotor and color suplpied with them.

I'm using a saint front caliper with a Avid 203 mm rotor. I had a saint front hub but I sold it cause I dont feel the convenience of the centerlock was worth the availability hassles( I couldn"t find one bike shop in Calgary that carries saint rotors) and weight penalty. I never weighed it but I bet the Saint hub/rotor combo was at least a 100 g more than the Hope bulb/ Avid rotor combo I'm using now.

Thanks, I'm pretty sure then that I will keep my Hays rotors and 6bolt hubs, get some saint calipers and maybe some lx or xt levers.
If you're getting the Saint calipers you might as well try to get the Saint levers. They are also the same lever as the LX/XT but with the Saint color and logo. ;)

Thats kind of the reason Im getting the lx; same lever with different logo. Save some coin.

You can run the Saint's with any 203mm Rotor granted you have the right adapter for a 203mm Rotor.

oops, I meant to say can not tell the difference between the levers except for color and the fact that one says XT and one says LX. For that matter, even the deore levers look the same.
The Deore's are also the same. Ever since they started coming as a set with the fluid and hoses included the prices have been adjusted to be almost the same. LX is still cheaper but beware that if you buy the LX kit you will likely need to rebuy the hoses. The Deore/LX calipers use a difference hose ending than the XT/XTR/Saint caliper does. You need to make sure they come with the BH-62 hose.
