When my shock compresses the spring on the derailleur isn't tight enough to pull in the chain slack. As a result my chain will sometimes skip gears. This is a new problem that has developed after many rides. I don't want to bring my bike into the shop since it finally stopped raining and the trails are in great shape. Which screw do I have to adjust on the derailleur to tighten the spring?

if your looking down at the derailleur its the one furthest back while still remaining vertical. its the b-tension screw
