I've been running a 2 x 9 (32/44) setup on my El Chamuco with a 108mm BB to keep the drivetrain as close as possible to my XC race bike, and want to change the cranks to a 3 ring Saint setup.

Saint lists two different 3-ring cranks, one for a 50.0 chainline (135mm), and another for 57.5 chainline (150mm). I'm running a standard 135mm Hope XC rear hub.

If I want to keep as close as possible to my original setup's chainline, will the 135 be the one for me?

Never had to face this issue before, thanks for the input.

Yup, you want the 50.0 chainline.

Note that this will probably still be noticeably wider than your current setup. Not sure what cranks/bb you have now, but a 50mm chainline is probably analagous to you running a 118mm spindle bb with your current cranks.
