Saddles with carbon rails

I want to try out Phenom with Elaston padding and just found one at a good price. But it has carbon rails. How reliable are those? I'm afraid I might break them. My riding is mostly XC type, but I like to sit in the saddle and I'm 90kg. Broken the CrMo rails on one Phenom and shell on one SQLab saddle.

I think they're good for most situations but be aware that you'll probably need a new seat clamp to match. Most are oval (e.g. 7x10mm)

Yup. Specialized saddles with carbon rials won’t fit on any of the standard dropper post clamps I have had (including Transfer, Reverb and TranzX). Been there, done that. Thankfully, brand new Specialized saddles can be returned within 30 days.
Make sure your seatpost i compatible, newest Fox Transfer you need a different clamp. The SL is compatible out of the box.
I myself have not had problems with the 3 Fabric carbon saddlesi have, but im a flyweight. Friend did snap rails on one of his coming off a rock roll and landing a little heavy.
I have the Phenom Pro elaston with carbon rails - it's a great saddle. Plenty rugged. I've used it on several bikes. No issues. The rails are 7x9 carbon. it works and fits fine in the Specialized dropper, and the Bikeyoke droppers I have.
I have Bikeyoke dropper and it's compatible with oval rails.

Can you compare it with normal Phenoms? How much softer it is?
I do have a normal phenom pro also. It's a little softer, feels like it has a bit more give, and more damping to the foam itself.
