Saddles... Which one?

4471 Views 31 Replies 21 Participants Last post by  tihsepa
I have a Selle Italia Troy Lee Designs saddle on my All Mountain rig and really like it.

I am wanting something that looks crazy with graphics yet works well enough for XC riding. Any thoughts? Currently, I like the WTB saddles and Selle Italia. But, the WTB saddles are pretty boring.

Before I get flamed, I know it isn't about looks as much as function, but why can't I have both? Basic black is for guys that wear suits...

Hit me with some kooky saddles that are good performers.

Looking for white or SID blue colorways...

This is so not 29er specific, but...

This doesn't seem that boring: (I was trying to grab the top one...)

I know it isn't 29er exact, but I have a 29er it is going on and it is an XC bike so... Maybe we can break the rules a tad, no?:D

I like the SL55, but I cannot seem to find it for sale...

You can't be picky AND cheap. Hell-low? :p
You could custom make a Fizik saddle. They arnt cheap, like $250 USD, but the Tundra model has a color called "Sid blue."

I really like my Sell Italia Yutaak, looks crazy and is very comfortable. Do you have the TLD version of it?.

My only complaint was sometimes the sides grab your shorts when coming off the saddle, just a hinderance really, didn't happen too often.

I meant for purchase - for sale... Not on sale...

Actually, I do on the All-Mountain. The sides are grippy which is good on the bike when hucked and stuff... For XC, I thought it would be too grippy and not as well applied for that role. They have a few others that are good ideas, I think and maybe I'll stick with the Selle Troy lee stuff...
I have the same saddle on all three bikes, (the ones that fits my azz best), and graphics don't matter, since I cannot see them when I ride and they do not make me climb any better. I'd rather feel good than look good, sorry 'Nando!

Baller... I don't have $250+ for a seat, though. I do love the saddle brown colorway, though!
If you like a brown seat you should look at the Charge spoon!

I have been riding them for some months now and they are great!
And the're a bargain! Mine was 35 Euro!

Well made, not really expensive. I have had one for a few rides now. I want to like it but it's just not quite right for me. Looks good though
Unfortunately this is only a question that your rear is able to answer. How about this for graphics?

Uh, yup it is, man... We use it all the time to describe products in multiple colors. Colorways... Here's a link for a definition...
