I recently purchased a Specialized Tricross (cyclocross), the stock seat was not pleasant so I upgraded to the Specialized Rival, it felt good for the first few rides but then started causing some discomfort and numbness, it felt like all my weight was centered in the middle of the seat.

Anyway I'm 6'4", 210 lbs. I ride off road as well as cranked over in a road position. Can anyone please share their experience to help suggest a better saddle for me?

i like the selle san marco ERA arrowhead.

It's not new, or fancy or heavily padded but the SanMarco Regal is an excellent seat for bigger guys. Another good one is the Selle Turbomatic.

My favorite ever was the original Flite. I don't know what they changed, but the newer ones (with embroidery on the back flanks) are terrible for me.
