My seat clamp loosens and my saddle slides back/forth & the nose will tilt all the way down or up. I have been tightening the nut on the post but in a matter of seconds on a short ride, the saddle becomes so loose that I have to walk my bike all of the way home.

Is this a weight issue or a seat post problem?

It is a stock post on a 2 month old Cannondale '09 F5

I'm going to suggest that maybe whoever put it together didn't do it correctly? Did you do it yourself? If not....take it to whoever did and ask them to look at it and see if they can figure it out.

I may head out to the shop that I bought the bike from tomorrow and take the post/saddle with me. The bike is all stock and has only been ridden a few times (About 5 miles each ride) in the 2 months I've had it. I haven't changed anything on it myself nor has anyone else.
