I just went last night for my first ride on my new Kona Unit 26 inch ss bike with a Manitou Black 80mm fork (oh this bike is so sweet.) Anyway I noticed the bolt on sliding dropouts (like the paragon sliders) do not have a tug nut and with very little hard effort my wheel had slipped in the dropouts and was now close to throwing the chain. I have heard that this frame was a possibility for that but now the question is how to fix it. I am thinking about sanding the paint off the surface of the drop out plat and also taking a punch to the plate to pit it like we used to do old seatposts so it wont slide when the bults are tight. Any other ideas or better ideas!!
