I have an opp to get a custom build 05 SWorks Stumpjumper frame with Septune rear shock and Manitou Minute 2.0 fork with XT front/rear der. or a stock 06 FSR Expert for the same price. Was looking for opinions on the comparison. Expert's components are better but was wondering if the SWorks frame was worth sacrificing the components. My big concerns are the Septune vs Triad and Minute vs Talas. Any opinions are appreciated. Thanks

The triad is miles better than the septune. Sux to base a frame decision on a rear shock but the difference in performance between the two is huge. If you could get them to swap the shocks I would by the s-works and upgrade parts later. Good luck!

Thanks guys for the reply. I did think I would get more of a response with my "prediciment." but my gut feeling is to go with the 06 Expert. I have read too many negative's about the Septune as well as the Minute 2.0 especially compared with the Triad and Talas. I don't want to have to through in more $$ to bring it up to specs even if it for a SWorks frame.
