I am trying to decide between the both.

The 120 will do better at what, do worse at what?

The 140 will do better at what, do worse at what?

I have listed the main differences between the two:

120 geom:

Head tube angle 69
Seat tube angle 73.5

140 geom:

Head tube angle 68
Seat tube angle 72

120 susp:

Lefty Ultra Carbon w/PBR, 120mm
Fox Float RP 23

140 susp:

Lefty Max w/PBR, 140mm
Rock Shox Monarch 3.3

120 crank:

FSA Afterburner BB30 w/Carbon Spider, 44/32/22

140 crank:

Truvativ Stylo 3.2, 44/32/22

120 brakes:

Avid Elixir CR, 160/160mm

140 brakes:

Avid Elixir R, 180/160mm (S-M), 180/180mm (L-X)

120 hubs:

Lefty SL, 24 hole front, DT Swiss 340, 24 hole rear

140 hubs:

Lefty SL, 32 hole front, Sun Dirty Flea, 32 hole rear

120 handlebars:

FSA XC-282 660mm, 18mm riser, 31.8mm

140 handlebars:

FSA XC 281 660mm, 25mm riser

They both have:

Front Derailleur SRAM X-7
Rear Derailleur SRAM X-9
Shifters SRAM X-9

My riding consists of some hardpack to mostly gravel to stony to rocky trails, with lots of climbs, from long gradual to medium steep to very steep. I am not a fast down hiller.
