my Rush 400 has a rock shox recon fork not a lefty. however the steering is tight. How to I loosen it some. I took the cap off and see the star nut and loosened the stem. Do I need to hit the fork tube to free it some. It has a FSA headset, 1-1/8" tube, How do I loosen the steering some it's to tight. Thanks.

was able to some what loosen the steering. The headset on the rush 400 is not the best, it does not have sealed bearings. That will be a future ungrade...
