I found a great deal on a large size Rush. I'm not worried about cockpit length, but I'm not sure that the front end would be tall enough for me due to the short HT height (it may be fine, dunno). I don't want the seat to tower above the bars. I suppose I could install a taller stem if needed, but I wonder if that would jack-up the handling. Any thoughts from taller riders, especially those riding a Rush?

Im 6 ft on a L Prophet, needed to make custom spacer to raise stem height 1 inch ( I have a Lefty). I would think a Large will be uncomfortable if you plan on any technical trails unless you have the Z model( non-Lefty/short headtube height). Lots a room on a Large C-dale, just not a lota headtube height. What u ride will make a difference.

Large if you're getting the fox 120 version and would like to go "technical", XL if you're getting the Lefty version and like to ride XC.

I'm 6'1.5" and used to have a large Rush w/Lefty, which was just right with the proper stem/ seat post (bwd angle) combo.

I'm 6'2" (32" inseam) I ride a large with the following set up:

FORK: FOX F-120 RLC
STEM: Thompson - 110-5 Deg. with 2 spacers (see image).
BARS: Azonic Double Wall 1.5" rise with 6 Deg, sweep.

My seat definately does not tower over the bars/stem (its only marginally above the grip), but I'm not sure what the comparable stem dimensions would be on a Lefty/Headshock Stem (they come pre-cut so no spacers for those right?). However, I'm thinking of using a 100mm (or less) stem because I'm always switching between my F1 and the Rush, so the Rush always feels like the seat needs to be further forward (F1 is identical set up).

For me, an XL is just too big, it pushes out the TT & wheelbase a full inch and feels sluggish turning, but thats just me.

Its a very comfortable bike, get it and you will be happy!

I am 6-6 and ride a large Prophet. The single best thing I did for my size was to install downhill type handle bars. They were 1 inch taller than stock and 29 inches wide.

With that single change the bike was suddenly right for me.

I also installed a layback seatpost, (my second favorite modification)

I am currently setting up an XL Rush, as it is very similar dimension wise to my Prophet. I will let you know what works on that.
