Hello. I want to buy a Rush 400 but I'm not sure if I should go with the S or the Petite. I'm 5'6" but having a BMX background I feel more comfortable in smaller bikes (currently ht 14"). the rush is a somehow a little longer bike, but my confusion doen't ends there, at the local cannondale dealer (I'm in Mexico) you can only order the bike (no chance of demo) and according to the printed catalog, the petite is about 1.2" smaller in the top tube and the wheelbase, but if you check cannondales web page they are exactly the same length. even worse, if you download the owners manual from the webpage (pdf format) you get the same specifications of the printed catalog (1.2") shorter in TT and WB, so you get two different rush geometries at the www.cannondale.com page. I would really apreciate if anyone out there that has a rush size petite could measure the wheelbase that is a simple measure to take (TT is always harder). I have contacted cannondale directly with no response.
Im adding the links so anyone can check the problem. the size chart of the pdf is in page 21. Thanks.

Bernardo - I'm going to stop by the LBS on the way home. If they have a Rush Petite I'll measure it for you. My guess is that the Petite and Small have a different wheel base and the document that has them the same is a misprint but probably a good idea to verify since you are ordering the bike.

Bernardo - No petite Rush. LBS didn't know, suggested contacting Cannondale. He said sometimes they takes some time for them to reply to email. Is calling them expensive? If no one posts an answer and it is expensive to call I can and post.
