Rune I2I, maybe wrong shock

Hey all, I just received by Rune last week and I was taking a close look at shock, Evolver ISX-6 and I noticed it is only 7.5" I2I. The website states the shock should be 7.875 I2I. From what I know 7.5" shocks only have 2" of travel and not the 2.25 as advertised.

Question: What is the length of shock you guys have, especially if you are running an Evolver? If the website and my research is correct I will need to get the correct shock :madman: .

Thanks for the help.

7.875 is what i have on mine.
I am a moron, with dirt between my ears. I just discovered the partless frame dangling from my bike stand did not have air in the shock resulting in not extending it to its fullest length. drrr! All is well now, except the looking really stupid part.
Hi.

What will happen if I use 2.0 travel shock for rune ???

I just want to buy frame and after some time I will buy better shock.
Now I have swinger 3 way air 7.875x 2.0 it's a bit use but works great.

I would think you loose about an inch of travel -maybe a lil more. The bike would probably feel unbalanced with a 160mm (recomended) fork. Not sure what will happend with adjusting the spring rate for a 2in stroke and how will it effect on the optimum sag for the bike.

But hey, i am not engineer in anyway, I am just speculating here.
