I'm looking for a new set of forks and have norrowed it dow to the above based on reviews and budget.

They are for my Scott elite racing HT. I do mainly XC with the occasional trail and am looking for something with a bit more travel than my current forks and something to lift the front a bit. I'm 200lb (14st 4lb / 90kg) and have about £230 to spend.

Any thoughts or comments on the above short list would be good.

given your 200 lbs weight the 32mm stanchions on the Reba can be a big difference....also I consider the damping on the Reba to be superior to the SSV on the MX...

Stanchion size better for those of us that are 'clydes', if the marathon line came with 32mm, I might consider it over a reba.

yeah... the XC 700 (07 marathon equivalent) is a nice contender... but more expensive than what warrerj is looking at (now)...
