Hi bikers!

I´m spanish boy and I have a Canyon Nerve XC. Lately, my fox rp23 do a noise (squeaking like you call) in propedal position 1. This squeaking dessapear in the rest of positions. The shock works well and does not lose oil or air

I dismounted the shock to do the air sleeve maintenance and all it´s ok in it.

What can be the solution? Is it dangerous for the shock?

Most of the time the squeak that you here coming from an RP23 is a valve harmonic that doesn't hurt the shock, just annoying. It's caused by the overlap in damping forces between the Propedal spring and main piston valving. A quick fix is to select different level of propedal ie. if you're using #3 switch to #2 or vice versa.
