Hey bikers,


Need some help in choosing these set for my 2010 sworks stumpy FS. Current setup is the stock roval SL. I have a spare set crossmax SLT. Wondering which set is a better fit. Both weight about the same. I think the roval is a couple ounces less.


The SLR is currently setup as tubeless. And the roval is tube.


What's the pros and cons. I'm new to mtb. Thx!

I'm not sure what the specs are on the stock Roval wheels because aftermarket wheels are usually different then OEM ones. I'd guess the SLR's are lighter, but going tubeless would be your most noticeable difference. You can run lower air pressure so you'll have better traction and better flat protection. If the tubeless wheels have sat around a while make sure to check that they have tire sealant in them and that it hasn't all dried up. I'd recommend trying them out and seeing what you think.
