Planning on being up to the Rossland/Nelson area around the week of August 14 - 21st
I'm looking for some epic XC riding around the area. I have looked around for trails on the NSMB.org website and haven't come up with a whole lot of info so thought I would try here

Thanks

There's plenty of good riding in both places. In Rossland, visit the bike shop, they sell detailed, topo maps of the bike trails. A few trails that I can think of are Whiskey Creek, Techno Grind and Monte Christo. There's a vast range of trail difficulty in the area...you may either be bored or scared, the guy at the bike shop can help you find trails that you'll enjoy. You might want to arrange a shuttle for some rides, which can take you a long way downhill from where you started.

I can't remember any trail names in Nelson, but visit the bike shops...Scared Ride, they will help you find some good stuff. I know there are also trail maps for Nelson available.

A little of this and that........nothing cheap! Try to buy local, which is really hard!

The local LBS is your best bet.
They usually have the most up to date info on trails......
Good Luck and have fun!!!!

Talk to Mark Holt (owner) or Malcolm (mechanic) at The Sacred Ride in Nelson. depending on your skills, I'd suggest Paperbag and The Vein as possible fun XC rides in Nelson. But Mark & Malcolm can help better. I haven't ridden Nelson for about 14 months, and I'm sure there are some new things up there.
