Hey all,

My name is Dominik and i found this forum while researching my new bike. Lots of great info here guys, much appreciated by all i'm sure.
I got a 1000 questions but will start with one...
I got a DB recoil frame and i'm looking to buy a rear shock, kinda know which one to get but i'm confused about something. The spec on frame say that it has 4" travel on it. I'm looking for a 7.5 x 2.0 shock. Now are all 7.5 x 2.0 with 4" travel or what??? Looking to get Cane Creek 9 but it doesnt say how much travel there is but it doesnt look like 4".

7.5 is the eye to eye measurement and must match you stock shock's length.
2.0 (or 50mm) is the stroke measurement.

On a side note, don't know if upgrading the shock on that frame will make a difference or not but knock yourself out.

so whats this 4" travel business for? Or is it 2 inches on the shock which = 4" of frame movement? does that make sense?
