Romic durability/reliability?

I second that...I did have a shock that had blown (was part of that bad batch) but Romic's customer service replaced it within ten days and its been fine ever since

I haven't had any problems whatsoever with my R0mic. It came on a '03 5 Spot demo that I bought so God only knows how much abuse it took before I got it.

Both knobs still adjust it perfectly. Great shock!!

I am considering buying a Romic but the reviews here on MTBR are super poor. I called Romic directly for a view on the reliability but all I was told was to look for the color of the adj. knobs being different on the newer models but all I looked @ had the red/ blue knobs. I wonder if I should push my Vanilla RC or go Romic. I really want an adjustable platform.

Been running one on and Ellsworth Id since the bike came out, no problems with the bike or the shock.
