Rockshox maintenance. 2003 Sid Team

It's time to add oil to my forks. I don't want to completely disassemble them. Can anyone here give a description of what to do?

I am a mechanic, and I have been to the RS website, for what that was worth.

Noone here has added oil to their shocks?

I thought this was a really easy question. Just curious how it's done, without disassembling the forks.

You have to take it apart

I had the same question a while back. Unless you feel extremely comfortable taking your fork apatr, have a reputable LBS do it. I am going to have a local LBS add oil and adjust my 1 year old Duke XC.

I thought so. I went over the service manual, but got impatient. I can pull em apart. No prob. I can machine up my own special parts, if I need them. When you're my age, you sometimes need help being enhusiasic. I should pull them apart anyways, just for fun.
