I plan to check this one out, thanks.
Now that brings back some old memories. Great to see it's on again. Wish I still lived in Woodland. Might have to make the drive from down south for it anyway. That one was fun!
Here is a video of the final descent on the course which I hope to turn into a super D race for next year:

Oh and here is a Strava link for the lap:

gunna be fun passing on that narrow st superd course!
Is this place legal to ride normally? That Super D run looks pretty fun.

I think it's a blast. It is legal to ride anytime. I'll be leading group rides out there as soon as the weather gets better. Follow us on facebook for the announcements:

that was my very first race !
Jeng - Its great to see you pulled this off:thumbsup: Good job!

I'm really excited to do this race. The 1990 Rockhopper was my very first mtn bike race.
I got seventh place.
I am in for this race. I want to get in on a group ride if the course so I can know it. Also a super d race down the single track at the top is a great idea. Hopefully not a mass/ la mans start though. haha
Would the city have a problem with fixing the turn at 2:30 maybe a nice berm there to carry more speed because right now that turn sucks.
I haven't raced this since 95 I think it was?
I think I still have a Rockhopper Froggie trophy from way back then....

See you guys out there :)
Vacaville?! the rockhopper was originally in annadel.
Wow, the nostalgia. Back in 1986 I bought a Specialized Rockhopper Comp, yeah, the one in the almost Bianchi-vomit green colour with pink/yellow decals. Rode the **** out of that bike, a friend of mine still has it and rides the piss out of it near the coast (it’s got to be a rust bucket by now!!!).

Not just me. We have a great team of local MTB'ers dedicated to making this thing awesome! Thanks for the encouragement.

We have a trail crew together that has the city's blessing to pretty much do as we please other than putting in all new trails or stunts. We also have access to earth moving tools that the city purchased. A nice deep berm there would be sick! I'll go to work on that next trail day. If you wanna come out and help just sign up to the facebook group and you will get a notice of the next work day.
