I have an 08 or 09 reba race 29 that I want to shorten the travel on. I am unsure how to tell which year it is and want to make sure when I am done I have the proper amount of oil back in the fork. Is there a way to tell the year by the serial #? Any insight would be helpful.

I'm pretty sure it's a 2009 Reba, because of the powerbulges around the bushings, postmount lowers and the black crown.
