I have also seen a promising Black Box Boxxer with Totem lowers and 40mm stanchions - similar to a FOX 40...

Not totem lowers and not 40mm.

There have been a few threads with some official info, but IIRC they are 35mm and mission control.

usual dirt misadvertising. they ran an article about how they test. now what they were testing. nowt other than a few photos of steve peat and josh bryceland testing in spain or somewhere.
the photo RaD shows does look like totem lowers and possibly 40mm uppers.
