This project is almost done. We are building two kits!!

What do you think of the second 'tribal' design?? It's pretty controversial in the roadie world.

The next project will be the mtbr jersey redesign and a new downhill jersey. Stay tuned!!

The tribal design would be my vote. Pretty cool. OF course, I'd need a road bike...

The Tribal design did win the vote. But it was so controversial we decided to produce both designs.

You don't need no roadbike. You just need the willingness to wear matching lycra shorts!

Yeah, me too. The first one looks like a Postal clone.

No road bike for me, either. I'm resisting as much as I can.....
Tribal design much better

I didn't even vote over there - it was obvious there are too many style conservatives, and the most conservative styles were getting the votes. Pfunk's designs were/are pretty cool.
Lol!

Drinking beer is resting, right?

Pfunque rocks.

Edit: Why did I read 'resisting' as 'resting'? Yeesh. Must be Freudian er something.
A few of the guys over on RBR were saying that it looked too much like a MTB jersey. Probably because I spend most of my time here on MTBR. They are MUCH more fashion conscious over on RBR. I just recently purchased a road bike and I must say it's pretty enjoyable. It's a totally different mind-set when I go out for a road ride. It's all about average speed and not getting killed by a cell-phone talking, latte-drinking motorist. Nothing can compare to the serenity of mountain biking, but a little road riding is good for a change of pace when you get bored of the local trails.
Why?

Why resist?

Bikes of *all* types rule. I say you're missing out by not giving road riding a try. Though I can understand if it's a budget thing. That's exactly why I don't have a track-bike, a cyclocross bike, a downhill bike. The list goes on...

I'd have 3 of every kind of bike if I could afford it.

Happy to see P-Funks design got chosen. There were some really cool designs in the beginning and the bar got continually raised. I'll defiantly take 1 kit of each design.

My MTBR kit is still my favorite - even my old(er) school MTBR jersey gregg gave me.
I'm still confused that there's two pfunk/P-Funk charaters here. What if you both show up at the same gathering? You might end up sleeping with pfunk's husband or something!?

Yes, I'm missing out by not owning a road bike. But I love riding my MTBs and have great trails right out the back door. Unfortunately, my wife is really getting into riding the road and it's almost inevtiable that I will have to give in....
I dig em' both

And the thought that wearing lycra can be fashionable is somewhat laughable.

P-Funk's tribal design kicks. I'm going to get both kits!

FWIW pfunk is a woman and P-Funk (that's me) is all MAN. We just both happen to have an affinity with Parliament Funkadelic. We're also both graphic designers, ironically. I've corresponded with pfunk a few times. She seems really cool, and looks to be quite an accomplished designer. She should make a jersey submission for the MTBR jersey when it comes around.
Yes, Pam IS cool, but my point is that if you both show up at the same place, you're both going to be called p funk. And Scott is not going to want to wake up to your mug, no matter what you look like.

Nice job on the jersey!
I ride both mountain and road, and I must say that P-Funk's jersey design is a lot better. I like how everything blends together. Good job!

I didn't like the first design. The sharp contrast between the darks and the white made it kinda harsh to look at. Also, I wasn't too thrilled about the blue, yellow, and red stripe going across the chest. Reminds me of the Romanian flag. (not that there's anything wrong with the Romanian flag :p )

I think both are pretty cool

but the tribal one struck my fancy the most. Especially the jersey.

The shorts make it look a little like your a$$ has horns though. Course that could be good. "you mess with the bull, you get the horns! know what I'm saying?" damn, what movie is that from.

Perhaps there will be a big pfunk vs P-Funk showdown when it comes time for the mtb jerseys. I gotta say though, If I submit a design, I'd like to see it availble in WOMEN'S SIZES (you hear that fracois, yeah I'm talking to you). rock on!

pfunk (worked until 4 am last night, so I'm a little silly, ha ha!)

I da J wit da R-O-C ... nome sayin?

I don't expect many people will clue in on THAT reference ...

I think the "tribal" shorts look feminine (ie look better on a woman, as opposed to "effeminite" (sp?), as in "girly-shorts", not that there's anything wrong with that). I'm too broke & desperate to buy any clothes right now. Just ask K'endo, I stole a pair of shorts off him a while ago. D.
