I went to Moab last October with a friend of mine and we decided we were going back this year. Well, I got this feeling that my friend is gonna bail on me ( he hasn't even been on a Mtn bike yet this year, just exercise bikes ).
I'm gonna go out there no matter what, even if I have to go solo. Planning on spending 50% of the time in Fruita Colorado and 50% in Moab. Maybe a day on the way back on some high altitude Colorado singletrack ( Vail?). Gonna ride Porcupine Rim, Sovereign, and Amassa Back in Moab for sure.
Anyone planning on going out there this fall or want to ride with? I should have room for 1 or 2 with me, even if my friend decides to go with.

A buddy of mine and I are heading out there in October, looks like the 16th -> 23rd or so.

We are putting vacation time in today. We will be heading out from Springfield, IL, not sure where you are in relation to that but you're more than welcome to hook up with us.

Haven't set the details in stone yet but we (or should I say "I") have to drop the wife and kid off in Denver on the way out to Moab.

You talk of traveling to Moab in October. Mid October (16,17) is actually when they will be holding the 24 hours of Moab, which will be a great time as always. I know several riders competing, and am currently trying to throw a team together myself. Just thought you'd like to know.

Still going I hope

I hoping that I'll still be going. It would have to be the weekend starting on Oct 15th or 22nd. Amount of days is still up in the air. I could go at the most 8 days. Friday through
Saturday?
This is a way better view than any trail in Wisconsin!
