Road bike end plugs for MTB bike bars...

Does anyone know if these road bike bar plugs will fit my MTB bike handlebar?

Let me try....

I haven't tried yet... but I just remember (but maybe you already noticed it), that they have a smaller diameter than the bar and then they fit with the bar tape... so, maybe you'll have to stuff some bar tape between the plug and bar.

At least on mine, it's a no go. Actually the situation is contrary to what I posted before.

The ID of my Giant generic bars is 15.5mm... my road bike's bars is 19.5mm ID. The plugs do not fit in.

Maybe some other models would fit... but not all. This is something you have to check for at a LBS or you could get getting something that will not fit.

You owe me a beer, bro!

... I had a hard time pulling off my Durango grips off the bar (not lock-on's here)
