Heading to Rocky Rest this weekend for some camping and biking. Wondering about the water level in the Yuba at Rocky Rest, as the water is the main attraction for people in our group not riding bikes. Heard it was low this year (duh).... Will the level be so low that we can't have fun, swim in the current, inner tubes, jump off rocks....all that good stuff? Want to set expectations for the (non-rider) kids before we get there. Thanks.

I swam there on Sunday. One of my friends dove in from the 49 side, and there was a large group on the other side.

I just left there this morning after four days. The water level was maybe a bit lower than normal but the swimming conditions were great. You could still jump off plenty of rocks. Air temps were mid eighties and water temp was around sixty.
