I just picked one of these up off of eBay for my hardtale commuter. It's pretty light for an aluminum bar; 127.6g; but it is soooooo thin at the ends. It looks soda can thin. I don't know if I'd put this on my trail bike, but it should be fine on the commuter. Are bar-ends a no-no?

I used the WCS handlebar for about 2 years. I didn't have any problems with my Ritchey WCS bar-ends (but the clamp is angled to hopefully prevent dimpling of the handlebar).

I hope that helps.

They are quite strong, raced on mine for a season 14+ races and training rides. The one thing I noticed is that they flex more then a carbon bar of the same weight, but you have the option to run bar ends, unlike most carbon bars.
