I moved an Azonic Worldforce riser bar from my old bike to a new one that has a slightly longer top tube, and all of a sudden my favorite riser bar isn't so comfortable any more. The Azonic has alot of backsweep and upsweep. How would switching to a bar with less backsweep affect steering, all other things being the same ( bar rise and width, same stem rise and length)? Would I need to change to a shorter stem if I switch to less backsweep? I am currently using the 1-1/2" riser, 25" wide with an Azonic shorty 75mm stem on a Trek Liquid? Thanks.

i think sweep is more about ergonomics than about steering, although differing sweeps may be equivalent to changing your stem length and height depending on the relative position of your hands.
