Anyone here running this configuration? Curious, did you mount the chainring with the lettering facing in our out? I got my bike back in the spring, and when I received it the builder mounted the chainring backwards, on purpose. He said when it was mounted the other way there was very little space between the teeth and the chainstay.

So who is running a 32 tooth chainring mounted normal? Any issues?

Has anyone tried a 34? Is it possible? I'm guessing not, which I find surprising. I thought one of the big benefits of running eagle, or 12 speed, was so I could run a larger chainring.

not on ripmo but on my hd3 and v4,
backwards mount is for boost chain line.

not sure how similar ripmo and v4 rear triangles are, but on my v4 i run rf next with 32oval boost ring (not rf though, absolute black) and there is about 3-4mm clearance at maximum ovality. i would assume it would be similar on ripmo?

Using a absolute black oval 32t cinch and just barely clearing. 34t would be a no go. I have seen a 34t with sram cranks

FWIW 32T oval is about the same as 34T round at minimum clearance.
