I should maybe have posted this sooner so that everyone would know and not wonder, but I thought maybe things would change. Please spread the word to others.

The Terry Peak Mountain Festival / Downhill Race for 2009 is not going to happen. Last year seemed to go well for most people, but Terry Peak does not seem to want an event this year.

I have tried to contact TP many times and have gotten no response from them. I am not sure if they have ill feelings from last year or not. I did my best to make sure nothing like that happened and tried to insure that we would have future events there. But they appear to not want anything to happen this year, at least not that I know of.

I will probably miss that Terry Peak race course more than anybody. And even though I worked my tail off I enjoyed both days up at Terry last year quite thoroughly.

I would like to thank you all for your interest in riding at Terry and for showing up for the few days they let us have the mountain.

I would also like to thank all those that helped make the event happen, without you guys it never would have happened. Most notably Reedo, Joe P. and Ian you guys rocked especially helping build the courses which took the most amount of time.

Rest assured I will let you know as soon as I can when I hear of something else happening up there if that day ever comes.

Thats to bad, I heard it was a blast and I planned on going this year for the first time. Anything going on at Deer Mountain ?(oops I mean mystic miner)

Mystic Miner in out as welll

I have heard through the grapevine that mystic miner is not going to host bikes this year as well. I was not apart of organizing that but have heard from some that were, that talks with the resort have stalled and as of right now it is not going to happen this year.
