I am considering replacing a Mavic X223 disc rim, w/ a Sun EQ27.
The published ERD is 540 and 542 respectively.
Can I simply do a rim swap, or is the 2mm difference too much?
This is for a spare set of wheels that get abused, so I'm not worried about prefection here. Spokes are std. 14 gauge, 3 cross w/ Deore disk hub (525 I think)
Just need to replace and was looking to something wider.

Thanks for the feedback.

Probably be OK. How used/abused is the wheel? If it is beat up and out of true it is worth using new spokes for the new rim.
