I've Somehow messed-up this Wheel build up,

XT FH750 Rear Hub/X517 SUP Rim

Laced it up(rough-in) Not pure trued-up yet, looks good though for rough-in, With the bike upside down and set the wheel on the frame, I noticed that the Rim is offset to the Frame towards the Non-drive side??

Laced Shorter spokes to the Dive-side, looking through Valve hole of the rim? Hub looks perfectly centered. Wheel spins nicely.

Question is? Wrong Hub for the Frame? Laced wrong? are there hub spacers that need to changed or moved?

This is on a NOS 1994 Zaskar LE 18" Frame, in case that matters.

After more research, it's the hub offset :/

Dang! Guy at the bike shop told me it would fit, no problem.

Luckily I've got a few older hubs around and I'll try to change up the washers on the hub.

Your rim is not dished correctly, it should be centered between the axle locknuts. You can't accurately eyeball it, you either need a rim dish tool or flip it around in your truing stand until it is equal either way.

The natural tendency is to move the rim too far to the non-drive side, when the rim is centered correctly the non-drive side spokes will usually be a fair amount looser than the drive side ones.

Your research is faulty. Almost all multi speed hubs (and front disc hubs) have offset flanges. Do not change the washers.
The rim does not magically center itself during a wheel build. Dishing is the job of the builder. It is an entirely normal spoke adjustment. True, round, dish. All must be Checked and corrected as you bring the tension up.

Nope, rim isn't dished on one side or the other. Pure V-Brake rims.

Though, I did tighten up the spokes the same on both sides.

I took the rear wheel from my 98 Backwoods off(D521 rim/XT Hub) and compared them, you can see the hub spacers offset difference.
