Right now my only rig is a rigid singlespeed, and I'm headed down there for a few days with the fam...Should I bring it or rent something?

Also, please advise on any can't miss trails (Barrel Role or Goosberry?).

thanks!

Do you like riding it? If so, bring it.

Bring it. Climbs in the area are not too steep and not too long so SS works pretty well. If you get too beat up you can rent a bike for a couple days. The Mesas are a lot more fun on a 5 inch FS bike. Other then that you will have a great time

Rigid SS is what I ride. The rough texture of the slickrock at Gooseberry is a little teeth chattering, so I just run a bit lower tire pressure to help. Also, just keep your momentum. But ripping around Gooseberry on rigid SS is a blast.

My only experience is with the JEM area trails, but a rigid SS would be fine for those.

Only one, rather brief, steep section. The rest is 2-3% gradient, up or down.

Thanks ya'll for telling me to take the bike. I only got to ride gooseberry for a few hours one day (with the wife and kids) but that experience has me stoked to head back down specifically for riding bikes!
