Bring it. Climbs in the area are not too steep and not too long so SS works pretty well. If you get too beat up you can rent a bike for a couple days. The Mesas are a lot more fun on a 5 inch FS bike. Other then that you will have a great time
Rigid SS is what I ride. The rough texture of the slickrock at Gooseberry is a little teeth chattering, so I just run a bit lower tire pressure to help. Also, just keep your momentum. But ripping around Gooseberry on rigid SS is a blast.
Thanks ya'll for telling me to take the bike. I only got to ride gooseberry for a few hours one day (with the wife and kids) but that experience has me stoked to head back down specifically for riding bikes!
